The Waldrutschenpark Maria Alm is the first of its kind in all of Austria and combines a short walk through nature with fun slides – by the way, not only for the kids an absolute pleasure. The idea is as simple as it is ingenious: over 200 m of pure sliding distance, spread over five stainless steel slides, lead from the top station of the Natrun cable car to the Postalm. The up to 55 m long slides – four tunnel slides and one wide-track wave slide – have portholes enclosed to give a better view of the curves. Of course, adults are welcome to slide along. Alternatively, a pram-friendly hiking trail leads from slide to slide up to the alpine pasture, including a stop for refreshments.
